Welcome to American Beech Hotel in Greenport, NY
We are a boutique luxury hotel nestled in the historic Stirling Square, located at 300 Main Street. Our neighborhood is home to a variety of local businesses that benefit from our aquatic surroundings; we’re bookended by the Great Peconic Bay on our south side, and the Long Island Sound to our North.
The American Beech Hotel reception and boutique can be found closest to the Main Street entrance of Stirling Square. We are the only retail location for Alex Vinash’s eclectic and elegant fashion line. Guests can shop, eat, drink, and spend the night—all within arms’ reach!
American Beech is located right in the heart of Stirling Square, the most popular Square on the North Fork, which means you will be in the middle of the night life area and as a result you can expect noise and loud music, due to external cause we are unable to guarantee 100 percent quiet rooms during the high season and weekends.
We have thirteen rooms, two of which are two-bedroom apartments. The first five rooms are situated above our American Beech restaurant, and rooms six through eleven are dispersed throughout Stirling Square. One of our King Bedrooms is ground floor accessible and conveniently located next door to our private event room.
What can you find at Stirling Square?
- American Beech Restaurant – Open 5 days a week September – June (Wednesday – Sunday). July – Labor Day 6 days a week (Wednesdays – Monday).
- Black Llama Cocktail Bar – Open Friday and Saturday
Including our neighbors Pizza 1943 & Brix and Rye – Open Thursday – Sunday
